Joanna Campbell
I'm from somewhere in PA, along Route 30. Seriously! My family moved to Gettysburg from the Pittsburgh-area when I was 8-years-old and I lived in York while I was in college. After graduation, I wanted a taste of big city life and spent 8 years living in Baltimore before moving back in June 2010.
I started working in commercial radio at the tender age of 15 and graduated from York College with a BA in Mass Communications with minors in music industry and history. Through the years I've been known by many names and have wonderful experiences here, as well as in Baltimore and DC. I've been a Top-40 and Rock DJ, news lady, traffic girl, and sports chick – now I do a dash of each!
I love visiting friends in Philadelphia and New York City. I've also been to far away places like Los Angeles, Houston, Bermuda, the South-Eastern Caribbean, Scotland and Belgium. When I'm not traveling, I enjoy hiking, yoga, painting, digital photography, concerts, karaoke, and fine foods and beverages – especially seafood, cupcakes, red wines, bourbons, and microbrews. At home I spend time curled up with my furballs watching sports, reality TV (music & food), cartoons and funny stuff!
Favorite Teams: Steelers, Orioles (Pirates in the NL), Penguins Hockey, and Terps Hoops!
Catch Phrases:
“That is a true story”
“Giddy-up”
“Indeed”
“Oh my”
One More Thing: I was raised Trekkie, so please forgive any references to Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock.
