Hogust 2010 - Battlefield Harley-Davidson of Gettysburg and 98.5 The Peak once again changed August to Hogust. Congratulations to Brett Alleman, Marietta, the grand prize winner of Hogust 2010. The grand prize was awarded at Battlefield Harley-Davidson in Gettysburg during the 98.5 The Peak live broadcast Saturday, Aug. 28. Women's Show - Memorial Hospital presents The Peak 98.5/Smart Magazine Women's Show Oct. 2 and 3 at the York Expo Center.  It’s two days of shopping, entertainment, exhibits, education and more, specifically geared to the interests of women.  Hours are Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $4 or free with your Weis Markets Preferred Shopper's Club Card. Battle of the Classic Bands - Congratulations to Almost Certain, the winner of the sixth 98.5 The Peak Battle of the Classic Bands held Aug. 18 at the South Mountain Fair. Almost Certain won the audience vote and won high-dollar Menchey Music gift certificates for their efforts. The Peak also congratulates the other two finalists Close Call and the Tom Sherman Trio, who also put on a great show. Thank you to everyone who submitted entries and who came out to watch the 98.5 The Peak Battle of the Classic Bands.

Codorus Blast -  The 2010 Codorus Blast, presented by Hanover Hospital, June 25-27 at Codorus State Park in Hanover was a huge success. The Peak thanks Hanover Hospital, The Merchandiser and the Hanover Area Family YMCA for their support as event underwriters. The Peak also gives a huge thank you to the Friends of Codorus State Park and all of the volunteers that helped make the 2010 event such a great success.
